The platform

One project record.
Every finding traceable.

Behind every CivilRisk IQ review is a platform built for engineering evidence: 21 discipline specialists, a manager and Red Team that cull weak claims, a portal where your reviewers decide, and reports generated from the same record.

From candidate to released finding

How a finding is made.

  1. 01

    Specialists read every page

Discipline specialists review the full package in parallel and raise candidates with sheet and page references.

  2. 02

    Manager merges and ranks

Duplicates from different specialists are merged and each candidate gets a likely severity and its reasoning.

  3. 03

    Red Team challenges

A Red Team tests weak or unsupported claims. On the Keller plans, 1,212 candidates became 474 retained findings.

  4. 04

    A person releases it

A licensed engineer (design) or an authorized decision-maker (environmental) decides what is released to your team.

The portal

Where your reviewers make the call.

Released findings go to a secure portal, so the people responsible for the design or the document can answer each one with the evidence in front of them.

Assigned projects only

Each reviewer sees only the projects assigned to them, never another client's work.

The sheet beside the finding

Open the plan sheet or page a finding cites, with its location and evidence, without hunting through the set.

Confirm, Revise or Dismiss

Record a decision and a short note on every finding. Your engineers keep authority over the design.

Who decided, and when

Every decision is recorded with the reviewer and time, so the record can be traced later.

Report packages

Executive summaries, findings registers and detailed finding sheets compiled as PDF and Word downloads.

Microsoft 365 sign-in

Answering findings sheet by sheetEvery finding on the open sheet is listed beside it, High items flagged. Your reviewer reads CRIQ’s finding, why it matters and the recommended check, then answers each one, revising the wording when needed, and moves to the next sheet.
The review queueEvery candidate issue on the project in one list, High items first, filtered by severity, discipline and response. Each one opens on its sheet with CRIQ’s call-out.

Questions about the platform

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to install anything?

No. The portal runs in a web browser, and your reviewers sign in with their existing Microsoft 365 accounts. Security & data.

How large a package can CivilRisk IQ review?

Large ones. Real examples include a 281-page 95% PS&E plan set and a 1,032-page, eight-volume Administrative Draft EIR/EA, both for the I-215 / Keller Interchange.

Can it read scanned documents?

Yes. Scanned pages are read with OCR, so older plans and appendices can be included in the review.

What formats do the outputs come in?

Report packages in PDF and Word, PDF comment files for Bluebeam or Acrobat, and structured findings data in CSV and JSON. See all report formats.

Does the AI decide what is a defect?

No. Specialists raise candidates, a manager and Red Team cull them, and a licensed engineer or authorized decision-maker decides what is released. Your team decides what changes.
